There are five key races identified by both parties.  The Center has compiled a list of these races and researched the candidates position on two very important issues that could potentially impact consumer and patient rights and safety.

Lieutenant Governor

The Lieutenant Governor position has largely been a ceremonial role in the years past, however, functionally, the position can hold much power. This election, both parties are trying to keep or take control of the State Senate. Should there be a tie vote in the senate, the vote of the lieutanant governor will be the deciding vote.

The candidates have taken positions on issues that could greatly affect your rights as a consumer or patient. Read more about their positions here.
